American Literature

American Literature course surveys the literary, cultural, philosophical, religious, social, and economic dimensions of the American literature through a chronological study of major American authors and their writings. In this course, we will analyze selected works from 17th to 20th century American literature which will help you understand the development of American literature as a whole and its influence on other literatures.
