Information Systems Security

The goal of the course is to familiarize the students with the concepts and experiences in the area of information systems security and the development of the policies for implementation and control of these systems. The lectures contain topics about the history of information systems security, types of security measures and existing risks, current trends in this field and the role of policies and behavior of people upon systems use. At the end of the course, the students will be capable of identifying risks to the security of information systems, to generate security policies and to identify processes for which the created security policies will be used.
