Associate ProfessorThe course will get the students acquainted with systems software, i.e. software aspects of the operating systems. The focal point will be on the Linux operating system, as well as its predecessor UNIX. The students will get acquainted with the bases of operation of the Linux operating system , both locally and network-wide. Theoretical concepts of systems software will also be presented, through corresponding modelling and examples from the UNIX operating system.
