Dual Degree Agreement signed with University of Rome Tor Vergata
On May 16 2017, the Rector of the University American College Skopje, Prof. Marjan I. Bojadjiev, PhD, attended the official ceremony on the occasion of signing the Dual Degree Agreement with the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
The program that is the main focus of the Dual Degree contract is the Bachelor of Business Administration and Economics, a program that will be taught solely in English and available at both Universities, leading up to degrees from both.
The signing took place in the grandiose historical villa Mondragone, overlooking the city of Rome.
The ceremony was attended by state officials from both countries, namely the Macedonian Ambassador to Italy, Mr. Oliver Shambevski, the Italian Ambassador to Macedonia Mr. Carlo Romeo,as well as academia, students and administrative staff from both Universities.
Prof. Novelli – the University Rector, Prof. Tria – The Dean of the School of Business, and Prof. Gnan – The Chief Program Director, proved to be magnificent hosts to the event and made an official ceremony air the feeling of a gathering among old friends.
The signing of this Dual Degree Agreement between UACS and University of Rome Tor Vergata as a Top 400 ranked University according to the Shanghai Jiao Tong Ranking, makes UACS the only University in Macedonia to offer a degree in cooperation with a globally renowned university, but also a program that will deliver future students two equally valuable diplomas.
We are proud that we have partners such as Tor Vergata, and joyous that we can start this program in September of the forthcoming academic year.
