Financial Acumen Meets Flavor: A Corporate Analysis Showcase

This December marked the eleventh consecutive year of hosting the traditional Financial Accounting Competition, a hallmark event fostering analytical excellence and professional acumen. Four teams from the School of Business Economics and Management showcased their exceptional proficiency in financial analysis, undertaking the complex task of benchmarking industry giants Vitaminka, Emmi Group, Danone, Unilever, and Evropa. Guided by the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Dusica Stevcevska Srbinoska, the teams employed financial analysis methodologies to dissect annual consolidated reports, identify performance drivers, and propose strategic areas for improvement.

The event was proudly supported by Vitaminka AD Prilep and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Skopje. The distinguished assessment committee featured esteemed professionals Ms. Elena Vrishku, Ms. Rosana Stojneva, Ms. Elizabeta Rikaloska, and Mr. Ivan Strezoski, who brought their expertise to the evaluation process. Adding a delightful touch to the intellectual rigor, participants and attendees enjoyed a selection of Vitaminka’s signature snacks.

This competition not only underscores the integration of academic excellence with industry practice but also reaffirms the vital collaboration between academia and the business sector in nurturing the next generation of financial experts.
