Guest Lecturer Mr. George Stamkoski, Producer-Director of Volatile Media Ltd., UK & Macedonia at UACS
On Monday, May 8th, our Marketing Communications and Media professor Ms. Nadica Jovanovska Boshkovska, PhD hosted the Guest Lecturer Mr. George Stamkoski, Producer-Director of Volatile Media Ltd., UK & Macedonia. Mr. Stamkoski held a guided session for treatment writing. The students were asked to work on either a fictional or a factually based TV programme of their own choice. During the guided writing class our guest lecturer was using mood music to accompany his guidelines and provide support for students’ story writing. In the first stage, each student broke down their story into “plot beats” within a classic 3 act structure. In the second stage, the skeleton structure was fleshed out into a treatment that could serve both as a pitching document and as the blueprint for a future script.
