ISAD students visit KNAUF Factory and Tetovo
On 9 November 2017, the students from the UACS International School of Architecture and Design had a field trip to experience the City of Tetovo with its specific monuments, such as the Painted Mosque (Sharena Dzamija) and the local architectural heritage. Another stop on their way was the Knauf – Radika AD factory, where they were greeted by the management of this famous plaster company. They also took the students on a tour of the facility and most interestingly to the plaster mine. Albeit it is named a mine, this crystal den looks amazing and the process of creating plaster is indeed a fascinating one.
