Ms. Biljana Koteska, Head of Department for research and inter-institutional cooperation from the Agency for Supervision of Fully Funded Pension Insurance (MAPAS) was a guest lecturer at UACS, as part of the course “Financial markets and Institutions”, with lecturer Maja Parnardzieva-Zmejkova, PhD.
Mrs. Koteska presented the development of the Agency for Supervision of Fully Funded Pension Insurance (MAPAS), as financial supervisor in the country that is responsible for the stability of the private pension market, conducting licensing and supervising processes.
In addition, the students were informed about the reasoning behind the pension reform and the recent data of the market, including the investment portfolio and strategies of all private pension funds in both the second and the third pillar.
