Erasmus Student Network University American College Skopje (ESN UACS) is a non-profit, non-political, and volunteer student organization acting towards the mission of the Erasmus Student Network, i.e. providing opportunities for cultural understanding under the principle of SHS – Students Helping Students”.
ESN UACS is the third and newest local section of ESN Macedonia, which has been elected as an official section at the 10th National Platform of ESN Macedonia, held on 11 September 2012 at UACS premises.
We aim to help the incoming and outgoing Erasmus + exchange students to get integrated into society during their study abroad period. We provide support and assistance to the incoming international students at UACS in terms of looking for student housing, University orientation, and organization of social, cultural, and sports activities.
The students, who cannot experience a study period abroad, get “internationalization at home” by working on local, national, and international projects and activities, which link them to the international level of the ESN (http://esn.org/projects).
If you would like to travel, experience Europe, participate in international events, make new friends, and gain soft skills, ESN UACS is the right choice for you. For more information, please contact us at: esnuacs@gmail.com.
The Tutoring Club at University American College Skopje or Tutoring Assistance Student Club (TASC) is a platform designed from the students for students. The TASC is aimed at students who need assistance with their courses, who are lagging with their exams, or who are placed under a special learning regime with the possibility to learn and improve their grades, through learning from their colleagues.
Every UACS student who needs assistance with his/her courses can become a member of the Club. Afterwards, the student will be assigned a tutor (i.e. another student), who will work with him/her and help him/her master the specific course being tackled.
The tutors are UACS students who have a minimum grade of B- or GPA of 2.67 for the specific course, who have been recommended by a professor, and who are also willing to help their colleagues. Every tutor can earn from 2 to 6 ECTS credits for providing tutoring classes to other students.
The TACS is active during every academic year during the period of October to June.
We are encouraging every UACS student to become a member of the Tutoring Assistance Student Club and provide help to others who need it.

Network CIII-PL-1604-01-2122 (detailed info at the CEEPUS website: https://www.ceepus.info/nw/1604-2122%20(Umbrella)
The Border and Regional Studies Network is comprised of 15 universities located in 10 countries of Central Europe and the Balkans. The network’s thematic framework will address some of the crucial problems and challenges of the XXI century like migrations, multi-ethnic societies, revitalization of regional identities, border crossing, and border revitalization (the last one strongly influenced by the pandemic). The main objective of the network is sharing and promoting high-quality, up-to-date knowledge regarding border and regional studies among students and academics. This will be obtained by a series of summer schools and seminars organized in different locations characterized by borderlandness and multi-ethnicity. In the long run, we would like to establish a tradition of meetings between scholars and students interested in border and regional studies, thereby building a community of researchers within the CEEPUS countries.
The Border and Regional Studies Network also cooperates with the FORTHEM Alliance (see more on the FORTHEM website: https://www.forthem-alliance.eu/) as an associated partner within the FORTHEM Lab Experiencing Europe.
