UACS SFL faculty and students to attend the 9th ELTAM INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
UACS language instructor Ms. Jovanka Jovanchevska-Milenkoska, МА, together with the UACS SFL students Vanja Spasovska, Hilda Softic and Miranda Kadriu, will attend the 9th ELTAM INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE titled: “Re-imagining teaching: Rejuvenating and transforming classroom practices”, which will take place October 14-16, 2016, in Struga, Macedonia. Apart from having a joint poster presentation on English pronunciation for young learners, the students have worked hard helping the ELTAM Board in the conference preparatory activities.
As part of the ELTAM Board, Ms. Jovanka Jovanchevska-Milenkoska explained, “I am very happy that our students have this opportunity to be part of a massive event, with more than 200 domestic and international participants. Our soon-to-be EL teachers will get acquainted with incredible practices and challenging situations and they will also work on their organizational skills, which I know will come in quite handy in their later careers.”
With many renowned speakers from the region, ELTAM is proud to have Marjorie Rosenberg, IATEFL’s president, as an opening plenary speaker at the Conference on Saturday.
UACS is proud to be one of ELTAM’s collaborators, sharing our common interests in secondary school students’ growth with the national competitions in English as well as contributing to professional development of EL teachers around the country.
