1. How is to supervise 2 billion euros as assets of pension funds?
2. What are the risks faced by Pension funds?
3. What is the role of MAPAS in preventing and mitigating the risks in Management of pension
funds?
For these questions, as well as many other questions related to the pension system in Macedonia, we sought answers from the Agency for Supervision of Fully Funded Pension Insurance -MAPAS. Namely, on December 15 2022, the students from the School of Business Administration and Economics at UACS and the professors of Taxation and Corporate Finance: prof.Dusica S. Srbinoska and Prof. Igor Srbinoski visited MAPAS where they got acquainted with the pension system in Macedonia, its institutional functioning, as well as the challenges related to inflation, instability in the region and demographic trends, also focus was also given to the risks in the management of assets from pension funds.

MAPAS representatives welcomed us warmly and had a concise and comprehensive presentation regarding the topic as well as an answer to every question asked. Also, they initiate internships to our students where they can practice in this very important regulatory institution.
