UACS students learning about Internationalization at Tehnoma Fair in Skopje
Second year students of UACS School of Business Economics and Management taking the course in International Business and Globalization with their course instructor, Makedonka Dimitrova, MPPM visited Skopje Fair – Tehnoma on October 21, 2016.
Since fair exhibitions and attendance represent a major element of the internationalization strategies of all internationally present companies, it was a really interesting experience and a great pleasure meeting some of the global players in the world.
The most interesting part of learning about internationalization was the visit to the exhibition of the second largest container shipping company in the world, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC). UACS students and their course instructor have also visited the exhibiting stand of one of the biggest transportation and logistics companies in the world, Kuehne+Nagel. This company has also been a UACS partner in terms of holding lectures for the students.
“I have understood the power of fair exhibition and attendance when our family business went to the Frankfurt fair of automotive spare parts. Our business was at least doubled as result of the contacts and the network of suppliers we have established while being there.” – concluded the UACS student Nikola Dobrevski, who is involved in a retail family business of automotive spare parts in Macedonia.
