Visit to the Macedonian Stock Exchange
On 26 February 2018, UACS students of business economics and management and their lecturer in Financial Markets and Institutions Dr. Maja Parnardjieva Zmejkova visited the premises of the Macedonian Stock Exchange, Inc. Skopje.
The aim of the visit was to familiarize the students with the positioning of the capital market in the Republic of Macedonia and all of its institutions, the organizational structure of the Macedonian Stock Exchange, as well as to gain a thorough insight into the securities trading in Macedonia in real time.
The presentation was held by the Stock Exchange representative, Ms. Evita Ivanova.
Furthermore, these students participate in the virtual stock exchange, a contest organized by the Macedonian Stock Exchange as of December 2017. They joined the game at the beginning of the Spring Semester in the academic year 2017/2018. The game will last until July 2018.
During the visit, the students had the possibility to learn how to use all tools provided by the Stock Exchange for the purpose of informing the capital market participants regarding all financial and non-financial data of all quoted or public companies.
