Visit to the Mental Health Center for Children and Adolescents “Youth” in Skopje
Оn 22 November 2017, UACS students of political science and psychology who taking the courses Child and Adolescent Development and Health and Clinical Psychology with Dimitrinka Jordanova Peshevska, PhD c., visited the Mental Health Center for Children and Adolescents “Youth” in Skopje.
The students were welcomed by the Head of the Center, Dr Mirjana Kaeva-Pejkovska, PhD, pediatrician and geneticist.
They had a unique opportunity to learn more about the specific types of psychological disorders in children and adolescents. Furthermore, they saw how does the multi-professional team consisted of a psychologist, pediatrician, social worker, nurse and other team members, conduct its everyday work with children, as clients of the Center.
