Entrepreneurial Finance examines entrepreneurship, value and resource mobilization and financing, applied to start-up ventures and the early stages of company development. The course addresses the issues which are challenges for entrepreneurs: business opportunities; developing the value proposition; financial aspects in strategic planning; financial forecasting and new venture financing: how much money can and should be raised; when should it be raised and from whom; valuation, choice of financing and harvesting. The course includes an in-depth analysis of the private equity sector. It aims to prepare students for these decisions, both as entrepreneurs and venture capitalists.
