UACS FOUNDATION

The UACS Foundation was established in 2010. It performs a non-profit activity and is committed to improving and promoting opportunities and quality of higher education in Macedonia. The Foundation has a mission by which is being determined and will realize its strategic and long-term goals.

The mission of the foundation

Starting from the belief that every individual has the potential and values that deserve to be developed and enriched through education and keeping in mind that the progress of society depends on the contribution and active and creative participation of all its members, the Foundation will strive to enhance the availability and quality of the higher education as a vital basis for sustainable development of the society and its integration into modern European and world processes.

Selection of candidates

Unlike other funding options, UACS Foundation selection is based on:

Student’s quality (high school performance)
Student’s ability (testing conducted at UACS)
Student’s driving force ( Motivation Letter)
Student’s financial needs

The Foundation has three main target groups:

The business community, government bodies and institutions, civil society, and individuals for mobilization of financial and material resources to achieve the objectives of the Foundation.
The senior high school students – Future UACS undergraduate students.
Junior and middle professionals – Future UACS graduate students

FUNDING

The funding is provided by the business community, including but not limited to the following donors: TAV Macedonia DOOEL Skopje, Vitaminka AD Skopje, Silk Road Bank (Alpha Bank AD Skopje), Alkaloid AD Skopje, Cukic & Markov Law Company, Aircon DOO, BTA Macedonia DOOEL, Makstil AD Skopje, etc.

UACS Foundation

The Foundation for Professional Development and Scholarships, as a not-for-profit organization, was established on the part of the University American College Skopje (UACS) in the year 2010. We believe that each individual has the potential and values that deserve to be developed and enriched through education. Our primary goal is to improve, promote, and develop the higher education process by abiding by the international standards, which contribute to the integration of society into the modern European and world processes.

Each academic year, the Foundation prepares an annual budget to grant scholarships to the students willing to enroll in our undergraduate and graduate study programs at the following schools:
