Audit 2

The Advanced Audit and Assurance classes build on the knowledge acquired during the Audit 1 course. Its aim is to broaden student expertise on the audit process, professional standards and audit methods, not disregarding the role of auditors in ensuring that managers have presented a ‘true and fair’ view of the entity’s financial results and position. The course focuses on the implementation of audit procedures on real-life financial audit cases by using ISA. Students will engage in analytical reviews, statistical sampling, tests of controls and substantive tests of financial data. By the end of this program, students will gain skills in planning of audits, collection and documentation of evidence, as well as assessment of internal controls and fraud risk.
