Introduction to Statistics

This course addresses the use of statistics as an aid to research processes, specifically, how information used to proof something is analyzed. It is designed to familiarize students with the various types of statistical techniques. The purpose of this course is to build students with statistical background that is necessary to read and assess different researches in order to apply the results of the researches in the practical work of psychologists. Also, there is an emphasis on computer based analysis (rather than manual computation) in order to equip students with practical skills.
