UACS Alumni of the Month – Vladimir Janevski

Vladimir Janevski, alumni story from University American College Skopje, gradually developed his career in McDonald’s Macedonia starting from Crew on training till position of Managing Director (period 1997-2006) where he was trained according McDonald’s curriculum. Meanwhile in order to strengthen his theoretical knowledge, he started MBA studies at UACS in 2010.

Master Thesis

After closing of the McDonald’s restaurants in 2013, he resigned from his previous post and decided to continue his McDonald’s journey in different geography taking the position of Director of Operations for Baltic states. Permanently positioned in Riga he earned the trust of the local team and over exceeded expected results therefor he was promoted as a Managing Director for McDonald’s Baltics in November 2014.

Since than he is holding the position of Managing Director being responsible for one of the most successful markets in Europe in terms of comparable sales, leading three companies with more than 2000 employees and total yearly turnover above 80 mill EUR.
