UACS Professor, Assoc. Prof. Marjana Vaneva, PhD, teaches at King’s College London

Assoc. Prof. Marjana Vaneva, PhD, Dean of the UACS School of Foreign Languages, as a visiting professor, was invited by King’s College London, University of London, to deliver a workshop on Macedonian language and culture to the College’s undergraduate, postgraduate students, and its staff.

Prof. Vaneva delivered the workshop on 30 March 2017 at the Modern Language Centre of King’s College London, University of London, UK.  The one-hour workshop was followed by half-an-hour questions-and-answers session that altogether gave the King’s colleagues and students a chance to familiarize themselves with this Slavic language and culture while tasting traditional Macedonian food.

The workshop was a part of the language and workshop series that the Modern Language Centre at King’s College London, University of London, regularly offers to this College’s students and staff, especially when languages other than English are concerned. The event, organized as a part of this programme, aims to start collaboration between University American College Skopje and the University of London, in many areas, not limited to languages only.
