Lecture on cybercrime and legal and ethical considerations in e-business

On 25 April 2017 (Tuesday), the students of UACS School of Business Economics and Management, who take the course Introduction to e-Business with the course instructor Kristian Petkoski, MSc, had the opportunity to follow a guest lecture in the area of regulation of law and its application in e-business.

 

The lecture was held by Dimce Atanasovski, LL.M, Secretary General of the Chamber of Certified Architects and Certified Engineers of the Republic of Macedonia. Mr. Atanasovski has graduated from law school and computer engineering, and he has also earned the degree Master in Law on Information Technology at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

 

During the lecture, the students were introduced to the following topics: Internet security, cybercrime, legal and ethical issues in e-business and regulation in the European Union (EU) and regulation in the Republic of Macedonia. Furthermore, the students had the opportunity to engage in a discussion regarding interesting world examples on how law is applied internationally.
