SENSEI research project presentation

UACS SPS and SCSIT students had the opportunity to follow a presentation on “SENSEI -Making Sense of Human – Human Conversation” research project during a Skype call on 29 November 2016.

The presentation was delivered by Associate Professor Giuseppe Riccardi from the University of Trento, Italy (Project Coordinator).

The project developed new technologies that will empower users to make sense of conversations.

SENSEI project has gained significant popularity especially following the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union on 23 June 2016. The EU-funded SENSEI project has revealed that it accurately predicted the result of the referendum by analyzing 6 million social media conversations in the weeks preceding the vote.
