UACS students of Political Science won the first and third place in the Oratory Contest on the occasion of celebrating the Europe Day

We are proud of the students at the UACS School of Political Science, Dzena Anastasova and Teodora Atanasova, who won the first and third place in the Oratory Contest, organized on the occasion of celebrating the Europe Day.

The Contest was organized by the European Movement in the Republic of Macedonia, in cooperation with the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University – Skopje, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the EU Delegation in Macedonia. The event was held on 5 May 2017, at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje.

On the occasion of 9 May – Europe Day, the European Movement in the Republic of Macedonia organized a Council of students, which was attended on part of students from almost all universities in the Republic of Macedonia.

The opening remarks were given by Dr. Arber Ademi, Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and Asst. Prof. Mileva Gjurovska, PhD, from the European Movement in the Republic of Macedonia.

The student debate titled “The European Union: A mandatory or an alternative option for the students?” was moderated by UACS SL faculty member, Jadranka Mrsikj, PhD and Assoc. Prof. Makedonka Radulovic, PhD, faculty member of the Faculty of Philosophy – Skopje.

UACS students, Mila Krekikj (School of Law), Dzena Anastasova and Teodora Atanasova (School of Political Science) participated in the student debate and had an excellent performance at the Oratory Contest on the topic of “How well do you know the EU?”.

We are really proud of the students of Political Science, Dzena Anastasova and Teodora Anastasova, who managed to win two awards at the Contest, i.e. the first and the third award.

The students practiced for the Contest under the mentorship of UACS SL Dean, Assoc. Prof. Marko Andonov, PhD and UACS SFL faculty member, Assoc. Prof. Ivana Trajanoska-Stafanovikj, PhD.
