New leadership elected for UACS Student Organization
On 3 November 2016, during its General Assembly, the UACS Student Organization elected its 2016/2017 leadership positions.
After all student votes were tabulated, Ms. Boni Cvetanovska, a second-year student at the School of Political Science was elected as President of UACS Student Organization for the 2016/2017 academic year.
Ms. Sara Smokvarska, a second-year student at UACS School of Political Science was elected as Vice President and Ms. Ilijana Bojadjieva, a first-year student at UACS School of Business Economics and Management was elected as Secretary of UACS Student Organization for the 2016/2017 academic year.
“The new leadership will have a hard task to meet the performance of their predecessors.” UACS Rector, prof. Marjan I. Bojadjiev, PhD said while wishing them all the best in the new endeavors.
Moreover, UACS Rector, prof. Marjan I. Bojadjiev, PhD expressed his gratitude to the immediate past leaders. The Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to Mr. Ognen Takovski, Past
President and Ms. Ivana Nikolovska, Past Vice President of UACS Student Organization.
When the students take the University Oath during their Opening Ceremony, they recite the following words: “…to render the University to those who came after me, greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to me.” This was probably a guiding idea for both Mr. Ognen Takovski and Ms. Ivana Nikolovska, as part of the leadership structure in the Student Organization at University American College Skopje.
The former leadership structure of UACS Student Organization managed to introduce new initiatives at University American College Skopje, including: Tutoring Club, Delta Mu Delta – Pi Alpha chapter and AIESEC.
