Dr. Chris J. Dolan is a Fulbright U.S. Scholar at the Max van der Stoel Institute at South East European University in the Republic of North Macedonia and Professor and Director of the Master’s of Science program in Intelligence and Security Studies at Lebanon Valley College. His first Fulbright U.S. Scholar award was in Prishtina, Kosovo (2019-2020). Dolan’s areas of focus include U.S. national security, intelligence analysis, hybrid warfare, cybersecurity, disinformation, and influence operations. Dolan is the author of four books, 30 peer-reviewed articles, and writes articles on national security and foreign policy in such outlets as Just Security, The Hill, 19FortyFive, and Newsweek. He is currently working on two books on U.S. foreign policy and NATO, completing manuscripts on hybrid warfare, geopolitics in the Western Balkans, and political extremism in the Western Balkans. In 2018, he received the Thomas Rhys Vickroy Distinguished Teaching Award and the Educator of the Year award in 2019. He is fluent in both Russian and Spanish. Dolan is a board member of the World Affairs Council and member of the Foreign Policy Association and White House Transition Project.
